About the authors

For over twenty-five years, Paula Johanson has worked as a writer, teacher and editor. Among her twenty-nine books on science, health and literature the most recent are Love Poetry: How Do I Love Thee? (Enslow Publishers), What Is Energy? from the series Let’s Find Out! (Rosen Publishing), and the science fiction anthology Opus 6 (Reality Skimming Press). An accredited teacher, she has written and edited curriculum educational materials. Jean-Louis Trudel is the author of twenty-three books in French, including the novel Le Ressuscité de l?Atlantide. He is also the author of over fifty short stories in French, published in magazines such as Imagine and Solaris,, and has won the Aurora Award in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, and 2001. In addition he was awarded the Prix Boréal, in 1999 and 2002 as well as the Grand Prix de la Science-Fiction et du Fantastique québécois in 2001.
