Melanie Légèr from Shediac, NB, is the author of a dozen theatre works, including Je...Adieu (Editions Prise de Parole). Working as actress, set designer and artistic director, she was a founding member of Théatre Alacenne. Her second short film, Emma Fait Son Cinéma produced by ONF Acadie, won the TV 5 prize at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québecois 2014.
